Essential Tips To Prepare for Your Makeup Artist

The Day Before a Makeup Application

• Exfoliate your skin: using peeling techniques
• Hair removal: Remove any hair from your face or body where make up will be applied. Typical hair removal areas are the upper lip, underarms, legs, arms, legs and your eyebrows.
• Manicures and Pedicures: Have your manicure and pedicure done a day in advance. You should also consult your makeup artist on selecting the nail color before application.

The Day Of Makeup Application

• Face Masks: It is recommended to apply a face mask that is best for your skin type.
• Exfoliate Your Lips: Exfoliate your lips using peeling techniques or your tooth brush.
• Remove All Makeup: If possible show up without any make up before the application.
• Alergic Reactions: DO NOT USE ANY NEW SKIN CARE OR MAKE UP PRODUCTS! Untested products can cause allergic reactions. Please test all makeup products weeks prior to your application day.
• Hair Preparation: Have your hair pulled back to get the make up artist the best conditions to work. Save any hair styling until after the makeup is applied.

A Few Minutes Before Make-up Application

• Be Timely: Please show up for your makeup application on time. If for any reason you happen to be late, call.
• Be Ready: If the makeup artist is scheduled to come ot your place, expect make up artist to come about 15 minutes prior the scheduled appointment to disinfect and set up the makeup products.
